Trina and I have gone on a few cinematic adventures these last few days. Here is what I think so far.

Cloverfeild - Was not so good. I thought it was an interesting concept but the execution was very Blair Witch Project and honestly I had enough of that the first time.

The Martian Child - It was a feel good movie. I could give or take it. Wasn't a bad movie.

Darjeeling Limited - It was indeed a Wes Anderson film. It had it's moments but like a lot of Anderson's films could have been 30 minutes to an hour shorter. I loved the funeral stuff and the pay off I thought was worth the extra gorp.

There Will Be Blood - OK so this was supposed to be a fantastic film. The critics loved it. Daniel Day Lewis won some awards for it. It didn't do much for me though. Maybe I was just not in the mood for it. I thought Lewis was very good, he always is. And I did like the first and last parts of the movie. It was the rest I could do without.

Been back on City of Heroes for a couple of days. What was I thinking?

Read Sean Wang's Runners this week. It was a great Sci-Fi story. The art was fantastic. I really liked it. I recommend picking up the trade and the new series.
