So I managed to get a nice infected wart on the middle finger of my left hand. The doctor had to burn it off and cauterize the resulting wound. Always nice to smell your own flesh burning. Even better when you can feel said burning because the anesthetic was not working. I've missed the last two hockey games for fear of it getting infected with whatever is living in my gloves, So no hockey updates. Which I know is a huge disappointment to those of you following my always comedic attempts at athletics.
Last week I was lucky enough to have a few friends over for a game night. It has made me pretty happy to have a few friends from the bad old days move to the DC Metro area and I hope to take more advantage of this than I have in the past.
Augie is growing very fast. At 10/11 weeks he is twice the size he was when we first received him. He is a good dog. Molly is having fun having a dog around to play with instead of her boring owners.
In more disheartening news, I've heard rumor that Tom Cruise and Sam Rami are linked to a film adaptation of Sleeper. I just don't see this combination when I think Noir meets super heroes. Maybe they can do it but this is a dark book and I just don't think dark when I see Cruise and Rami.

"GNV FLA" by Less Than Jake - Back to the horns and from trying to impress the emo kids. Glad to have you back guys.
"Have Another Ball" by Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies - I think their other efforts are better. It is probably because they covered songs I don't particularly care for. Decent, just not as much fun as thier other albums to me.
