Puppies!!!

Sometimes life likes to give you a giant crap sandwich to eat and you have to suck it up and choke it down one nauseating bite after another. I had one of those crap sandwich’s to eat two weeks ago. As with every black cloud there is a silver lining. We get to adopt a beautiful German Wirehair puppy and currently we get to foster one of his litter mates. They are both wonderful handfuls.

Here are some pictures of the two.

Puppies

Augustus, (Augie) is the male and Bonnie is the female. We are adopting Augie.

Today is a nice day out so I’m typing this from my back porch. I might as well get some sun and fresh air while I’m writing some JAVA.

Molly is sleeping between my chair and the porch. Not to happy about the whole puppies trying to play with her all the time.

I received my birthday present from Trina yesterday. In an attempt to further solidify my geek cred, I now own the D & D 4th Edition boxed set. Thank you beautiful lady. I love you.

Back to the JAVA salt mines.

The years go lightning fast.

Holy crap, 35!!!!!

Nobody told me how to feel about this. In five years I'll be forty. When the hell did that happen? Hey I woke up this morning I guess from now on that is a win :) As I said to Stephan this morning, "I just bought two new punk CD's so for the next two hours I'm in my twenties again."

I'll review the CD's once I listen to them a couple of times.

I watched Wanted while Trina was visiting family in Texas for the fourth of July. It may not be a popular choice for those of my interests but I think it was the best "comic" movie of the summer. Most will cling to the warm blanket that Hulk and Iron Man provide. For my eight bucks Wanted was a solid theater experience.

I finished the Wanted and Lost Squad trades recently. Wanted was a nice re-read. Post movie the comic only seems stronger. A good read. Lost Squad gets high marks from me also. I loved the Tinker-To-Evers-To-Chance reference and the quirkiness of the characters. It was just a fun read.

Till Tomorrow,

Rich
