Monday the Gladiators dropped yet another contest. I was able to play forward for the second consecutive game. It is fun to play a little more offense than I usually do. I had to solid chance in front of the net but I have absolutely no puck handling skills and both times the Goalie did a good job closing his five hole. I had fun playing in front of the net. I doubled some guy over who tried to clear me out. That was fun. I'm usually the clearer not the clear.
I've logged 3.68 Miles on the elliptical. New start for a new year. I hope I can keep that going a little longer this year.
The Good:
- Everyone is healthy and they seem to be playing with a little more umph.
- Lost to Florida
- The Hurricanes have 47 points of a possible 84 for around 56% of the possible points they could have attained.
- The maximum number of points the Hurricanes can obtain now is 130.
- The total number of goals allowed this season is 122 which yields an average of 2.9 goals a night. Ughhhh.
- The total number of goals scored is 110 which yields an average of 2.6 goals a night. Accckkkkk.
- The Hurricanes are in second place in the South East Division behind the Washington Capitals by ten points and ahead of the Florida Panthers by three points.
- The Hurricanes are in 8th place in the conference tied with the Buffalo Sabers and three points ahead of the Florida Panthers.
